Project Overview:
Berytech, a leader in Lebanon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, in collaboration with the EU-funded NEX-LABS project, launched the NEX-LABS Commercialization Prize. This initiative aims to empower researchers and academics working on NEXUS-related projects, facilitating the commercialization of their innovations and the creation of spin-offs.The project focuses on providing comprehensive support to two selected WEF-NEXUS researchers/academics.

Key Responsibilities:
The collaboration resulted in successfull training in:

– Development of business models and business plans.
– Formulation of fundraising strategies and proposal writing.
– Creation of sales and distribution strategies.
– Enhancing collaboration and partnership building.
– Implementing food safety and quality control measures.

Outcome:
The primary outcome of this initiative is the successful commercialization of the two selected WEF-NEXUS research projects. Through the comprehensive support and tailored advisory services provided, the researchers/academics are equipped to transform their innovative research into market-ready solutions, leading to the creation of spin-offs and contributing to the economic and technological advancement in the region.
