Business English and Digital Marketing Training
Project Overview:
The STEP Project, funded by UNICEF, is designed to support vulnerable adolescents and youth, particularly school dropouts, in developing essential 21st-century skills. The project targets Palestinian young people aged 18 to 24, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration, while addressing their specific learning needs and interests. It adopts a rights-based, integrated, child-centered approach to offer educational and vocational upskilling opportunities.
The project is be implemented in seven Palestinian camps across North Lebanon (Nahr El Bared), South Lebanon (Saida: Miyeh ou Miyeh, Ain El Hiloue), Tyre (Burj El Shemali, Rashidieh, El Buss), and Mount Lebanon (Beirut: Shatila).
Key Responsibilities:
– Enhanced the skills of 500 youth who are school dropouts or have learning difficulties.
– Empowered participants through Business English courses and Digital Marketing & Media Literacy (DML) courses.
– Equiped them with necessary tools to succeed in an ever-evolving digital world.
– Ensured the curriculum is tailored to meet the learning needs of school dropouts and those with learning difficulties.
Outcomes
– Advanced business English and digital marketing skills among youth.
– Improved job opportunities and vocational prospects for Palestinian young people in the targeted regions.
– Contribution to the holistic development and empowerment of the Palestinian community in Lebanon.
