Project Overview:
Under the banner of Akkarouna, Salem Group took on the responsibility of providing invaluable insights into the market plans of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). The goal was to promote their products and services effectively by collaborating directly with each participant. Salem Group’s role was to assist these enterprises in developing digital marketing plans, incorporating various essential steps to enhance their online presence and sales strategies. The program was implemented in Tripoli.
Key Responsibilities:
Salem Group executed the following key responsibilities in this project:
1. Review Digital Capabilities: Evaluated the digital capabilities of each participating MSME to understand their current digital landscape.
2. Set SMART Objectives: Collaborated with participants to set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) objectives for expanding their online leads and directing sales, whether online or offline.
3. Define Digital Marketing Methods: Assisted participants in defining suitable digital marketing methods tailored to their businesses.
4. Resource Allocation: Helped businesses allocate the necessary resources for effective digital marketing campaigns.
5. Product Branding and Advertising: Introduced participants to product branding, packaging, and effective advertising techniques.
6. Group Training: Conducted group training sessions that provided general marketing advice to program participants. This guidance included insights into Information and Communication Technology (ICT) topics, highlighting their significance, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak and the need for transitioning towards online platforms.
7. Virtual Operations: Managed all virtual operations and organized a one-day marketing introduction event to present the marketing plan of ‘Bab Rizk.’
Outcomes:
The collaboration between Salem Group and Akkarouna yielded valuable lessons and outcomes for MSMEs:
– Enhanced understanding of online and offline sales strategies.
