Project Overview:
RTP sought an expert consultant to conduct an English course for parents/mothers in South and North Palestinian camps. The goal is to elevate the English reading, writing, and speaking skills of 40 mothers who have completed English course level 1 (kindergarten level) to level 2 (grade 1/2 level) according to the Lebanese curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment: Conducted assessments to evaluate the mothers’ existing knowledge and skills in studying English.
2. Training: Provided instruction to mothers on reading, writing, and speaking at the level 2 English (grade 1/2 level) based on the Lebanese curriculum.
3. Progress Measurement: Monitored and assessed the mothers’ progress in English through assignments, tests, quizzes, and maintain attendance records for each session.
4. Project Encouragement: Encouraged mothers to submit English projects as part of their learning experience.
5. Reporting: Prepared monthly and final reports, including an executive summary, methodology description, progress, challenges, solutions, and recommendations.
Outcomes:
– 40 mothers improved their English language skills from kindergarten level to grade 1/2 level.
– Enhanced English proficiency will empower mothers in South and North Palestinian camps for better communication and opportunities.
