Project Overview:
The “High Quality Employability Trainer” project, part of the “My Career, My Choice” Livelihoods Project by Secours Islamique France (SIF), aimed to enhance employability skills among young women in Lebanon. The project’s focus was on developing career paths, vocational training, and job placements, specifically targeting 540 young women in Beirut-Mount Lebanon and the North.

Key Responsibilities:

– Developed a comprehensive employability curriculum consisting of eight modules, covering topics from action plan preparation to job market readiness.
– Conducted capacity building sessions for local NGOs and SDCs, focusing on employability program delivery.
– Facilitated training on identifying employment opportunities, CV writing, interview skills, and job matching.
– Enhanced career guidance tools and techniques for supporting vulnerable young women.
– Built networks and relationships with potential employers to aid job placement for the participants.

Outcomes:

– Empowered young women with essential skills and knowledge for successful career development.
– Increased job placement opportunities for participants through effective training and employer networking.
– Strengthened the capacity of local NGOs and SDCs in delivering high-quality employability programs.
