Project Overview:
This consultancy project involved working with four grassroots organizations in Akkar and Tripoli. The focus was on assessing technical capacities, identifying gaps, and developing basic policies and tools across six key domains.

Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Management and Organizational Structure: Training on enhancing human resource management and organizational structuring practices.
2. Agreements & Compensation and Personnel Policies: Guidance on formulating effective personnel policies and compensation agreements.
3. Financial Management: Training covered financial policies and procedures, accounting manuals, cash management, cost allocation, financial documentation and reporting, and external audit functions.
4. Procurement: Instruction on procurement policies and procedures, procurement tools, and assets and inventory stock control.
5. Internal Controls: Training on developing a matrix of responsibilities, segregation of duties, authorization and approval processes, and internal audit functions.
6. PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) and Child Protection: Training on organizational PSEA and child protection policies.

Outcomes:
– Enhanced capacity in critical organizational areas.
– Improved policy framework and operational procedures for participating organizations.
– Strengthened internal controls and safeguarding measures.
